SAAS & PRODUCT UX

Enterprise Dashboard UX Analyzer

Paste a public dashboard or admin UI URL. We fetch the real page server-side and run deterministic checks for information density, KPI prominence, table usability, filters, and multi-role navigation — every result is explainable, nothing is guessed.

Works best on publicly accessible pages — a marketing site, a public demo, or a server-rendered preview route.

SaaS Dashboard UX Guide

How This Analyzer Works

This tool fetches the exact HTML your server sends for a URL — the same thing a search engine crawler would see — and runs deterministic, rule-based checks against it. There's no AI guessing and no fake scoring: every check below is visible in the results, with the specific DOM evidence that produced it.

Information Density

Flags pages that returned almost no server-rendered content (likely a client-rendered SPA shell or an auth wall), and penalizes an unusually high raw element count that tends to feel cluttered.

KPI Prominence

Looks for short, number-led elements near the top of the page — text like "$12.4K" or "84%" sitting alone in a heading or a stat-card-like container — as a proxy for whether key metrics are immediately visible.

Table & Grid Usability

Counts <table> elements and checks for proper <thead>/<th> markup, sort indicators (aria-sort, sort-related classes), pagination controls, and inline row actions like edit/delete buttons.

Filter & Search Discoverability

Checks for a search input, filter dropdowns/comboboxes, and "active filter chip" style elements that help users see what's currently filtered without opening a menu.

Empty States & Multi-Role Navigation

Scans visible text for common empty-state phrasing ("no data", "get started"), counts navigation links and their nesting depth, and looks for role/permission-related keywords like admin, billing, and team.

Known Limitations

This is a static-HTML analyzer, not a browser — it never executes JavaScript or logs into anything. That's an honest boundary, not a hidden one:

  • Client-rendered dashboards (most React/Vue/Angular SPAs) often return an almost-empty HTML shell before JavaScript runs — the analyzer will flag this as a "low-confidence" result rather than fabricate a score.
  • Pages behind a login wall can't be analyzed directly — test a public marketing page, a public demo route, or a server-rendered preview instead.
  • Only http:// and https:// URLs that resolve to a public IP address are accepted — internal and private network addresses are blocked for security.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can this analyze a dashboard that requires login?

Not directly — the analyzer makes a single unauthenticated server-side request. If your product has a public demo or preview route, point the tool at that instead.

Why did my score come back low with a 'low-confidence' warning?

Your page's initial HTML response was very small — almost certainly because it's a client-rendered single-page app that fetches data and renders the real UI after JavaScript loads, which this tool doesn't execute.

Is my URL stored anywhere?

No. The URL is fetched, analyzed in memory, and the result is returned to your browser — nothing is written to a database.

Why can't I analyze a localhost or internal URL?

Allowing arbitrary internal addresses would let anyone use this tool to probe private networks from our server (a class of vulnerability called SSRF). Only URLs that resolve to public IP addresses are accepted.
